Friends, this whole week I am ministering at State Theatre with Maranatha Soul-Seekers Ministry. We are really having great time with spirit-filled seminars. Last night we had Ps. New Territory

When we have grasped what we are all about in this life and the various gifts and talents God has placed on our inside, it is of vital importance to continually grow these gifts lest our wisdom gets rejected by those we seek to serve. From time to time God gives us opportunities to help us grow our gifts. He challenges us with new insights, new concepts, new ideas, new methods, new territories and new visions.

Where you are is not the ultimate, I reckon there's always something better for you. God wants to expand your scope of operation. He wants to take you to new heights you have never gained before. God wants to take you to places you have never been to.

Often we find it difficult embracing a new vision as it challenges our comfort. Perhaps even the fear to make unpopular decisions. However, a teachable mind and spirit may open doors you have never seen.

Challenge: Think outside the box. Resist any limitations. Refuse any mediocrity.

"Oh that would bless me and expand my territory" 1 Chronicles 4:10

God's Greatness In You

Like any computer system that cannot function unless certain programs have been run so is any man or woman unless they begin to exercise their God-given gift. Your God-given gift is a built-in software waiting to be installed and activated in your life. Unless this software has been activated and run into our systems we can never experience the passionate life we desire to live.

Often we feel so inadequate like abandoned children when we are so rich with God's substance on our inside and all we need to do is simply acknowledge and exercise our gifts little as they may be. Each time we fail to exercise our God-given gifts we fail to live the life He meant us to live. God wants to use us to the best of our abilities but we are not ready to function. Only if we knew how much greatness God has placed on our inside, we would all rush to release it. We are destined for excellence! We are destined for greatness!

Challenge: Acknowledge and begin exercising your God-given gift. When you do so you are on your way to a life of excellence and fulfillment.

"Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us" Ephesians 3:20

Investing In Your Own Talent

Your talent or gift is God-given. While talent is important, alone is not enough. It doesn't guarantee success in anyway. The world is full of many talented yet unsuccessful people. It is not talent that guarantees success but skillfulness in talent. We can never be at our best in whatever we do for as long as we operate from undeveloped talents and gifts. Every time we neglect our talents we under-perform.

It's amazing how much a well-polished gift can accomplish on our behalf. Your gift if well nurtured and cultivated can be a powerful instrument for your own success. Lack of skill leads to ineffectiveness and makes us irrelevant to those we love to serve. Invest in what you already have, which is your gift than in something you don't even know.

"Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress." 1 Timothy 4:15 NIV

Discover What You Love Doing

The day you discover what you love and start doing it, you will never work another day. What you will do as work will not feel like such. There's a difference between doing what you're doing because you love doing it and doing it because you want to do it. Often the former leaves us frustrated and unfulfilled. Every calling comes with provision and the reason we often don't see the provision it's because of our lack of vision.

Let me make a submission: Look at the bigger picture. Discover what you love doing, work at it with trembling and fear. When you do this you are not far from living a life of passion and purpose.

"Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through a prophetic message when the body of elders laid their hands on you. Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress." 1 Timothy 4:14-15

Greatest Joy of Life

The Greatest Joy of Life is discovering who you are in God and being yourself beyond any intimidation. Purpose connects us to our Source, the One who made us. Purpose gives us meaning for our lives. Purpose permits us to be original, who we actually are. There's nothing as frustrating as trying to become who you were never meant to be. The greatest joy that we can ever attain in life is to be who we are in all that we do everyday. We are effective in what we do when we do it from the area of our giftedness.

Is Your Career Your Calling?

Do you love what you are doing? Do you feel strained by what you are doing? Maybe it is time you reflect back on God's Purpose for your life. Is Your career your calling?

Purpose separates career from a calling. Purpose separates the work you are doing from the work you must be doing. There are many things we are doing so well that we are not supposed to be doing. However, your career can be your calling if your choice was informed by what you were called to do. We often miss our purpose when our choice of career is informed by the pursuit of material things than providing service.

Sinning Through Trials



The biggest loss in life's struggles is to sin against God while going through trials.

  1. Sinning through trials is giving up on God and undermining what He is capable of doing in-spite of.
  2. Sinning through trials opposes God's Will for our lives
  3. Sinning through trials prolongs our stay in trials, what God would accomplish in 4 days, ends up into 40 days, 4 years or even 40 years, check with Moses.
In every trial maintain your integrity and you will come out with dignity.

"In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly." Job 1:22

Worshiping At Awkward Times!

Spiritual Maturity takes place when we learn to worship God even in times of challenge and controversy like Job. Trials should not stop us from worshiping but they should give us the reason to continue worshiping. Never sleep under your trials but learn to rise above them.

God is bigger than all our trials. Worship Him anyhow!

Mountains of Life


Life's mountains are not to be faced with a full stomach but an empty one. There are certain situations that do not require just ordinary prayer but prayer and fasting. There are certain things that you will not get right unless you go an extra mile doing what you would not otherwise do under normal circumstances.

Walk In God's Purpose For Your Life


You don't need permission from anyone when you have to walk in God's Purpose for your life. Had Peter consulted with his fellow disciples before he got out of the boat, they would have applied their own human reasoning convincing him not to. Thus denying him the opportunity to walk on water. It is quite true that he sank in the process but the experience he had his colleagues could not attain.
