Life's mountains are not to be faced with a full stomach but an empty one. There are certain situations that do not require just ordinary prayer but prayer and fasting. There are certain things that you will not get right unless you go an extra mile doing what you would not otherwise do under normal circumstances.
If you expect extra-ordinary results from God, attempt extra-ordinary things for Him!
Matthew 17:20,21
"However, these things come not out but prayer and fasting"
